Phelan Prevot Announces Ineos Grenadiers Kit for Copenberg Cross

Pauline Ferrand-Prevot will make her long-awaited debut wearing Ineos Grenadiers' new cycling kit in her return to cyclocross racing on November 1 at Copenberg Cross.

"I am very happy to start the cyclocross season with Ineos Grenadiers on November 1. Tomorrow I'll be riding a Pinarello bike in the Ineos Grenadiers kit. Can't wait," Ferrand-Prevot wrote on Instagram on Monday.

The eventual world champion has signed a two-year contract with Ineos Grenadier for the 2024 Olympics in her hometown of Paris. The 30-year-old, the first woman to sign with the British team, will be part of the team's growing off-road contingent in cyclocross, gravel, and mountain bike racing.

She joins the team after two years with Absolute Absalon-BMC, where she focused on mountain biking.

While many had expected a January 1 debut, Ineos Grenadiers announced on Monday that she would be competing in the X2O Trofee Oudenaarde-Koppenbergcross in Belgium on Tuesday wearing their kit.

"A new adventure begins... Tomorrow: Pauline Ferrand-Prevot will return to cyclocross on Tuesday at the Koppenbergcross and make her Ineos Grenadiers debut," the team wrote on Twitter.

The post included a short video of Ferrand-Prevot getting ready for the cyclocross ride, lining up her new Ineos Grenadiers kit, before riding her Pinarello off-road bike.

The jersey cuffs were missing the painstakingly crafted rainbow bands marking her 2015 Cyclocross World Champion title.

Over the course of her career, Ferrand-Prevot has won road (2014), cyclocross (2015) four cross country mountain bike titles (2015, 2019, 2020, 2022), two XCM marathon titles (2019 and 2022 ), one short track mountain bike title (2022), and 10 individual elite world titles, including a gravel world title (2022).

She was also part of the French national team that won team relay world titles in 2014, 2015, and 2016, adding to her illustrious career.

With recent world titles in XCO Cross Country, XCM Marathon, XCC Short Track, and Gravel, she will be looking for her fifth simultaneous world title at the UCI Cyclocross World Championships in Vogelheide on February 4.
